Who I Am
First and foremost, I am someone who loves nature. It is in nature that I most often find a sense of harmony, silence, and truth. Perhaps that is why I have always been drawn to art that does more than simply depict the world; it reflects upon it, explores it, and helps us see the familiar from a new perspective. MUSIC Music has always been an inseparable part of my life. For more than twenty years, I have devoted myself to performing, composing, and searching for my own artistic voice as a guitarist in the jazz manouche tradition. It has taught me to hear form, feel rhythm and energy, notice beauty in the smallest details, and experience art as a living dialogue. FINE ART Fine art, in particular, draws me for how it is both like and unlike music: the same search for form, rhythm, and inner logic, but arrived at through stillness rather than time and sound. It is a space where there is no need to rush or to prove anything. Here I can simply observe, reflect, and discover something new each time, letting what I’ve learned through music find a different kind of expression on canvas. I am inspired by works in which beauty arises not from a desire to impress, but from a sincere pursuit of understanding the world: art that stays connected to nature, human experience, and timeless questions, while continuing to speak across generations.
